AMAZING as always!
Very average. I'm pretty deceived with this album... Only 4 stand out tracks...
BUT HEARTBEAT JUST MAKES IT OUT FOR THE OTHER POOR TRACKS ON THIS ALBUM, it's simply amazing.
Some songs are awful, but the rest will be great to exercise to, thanks!

Candy Shop - I don't really like this, It just doesn't click, 3.5/5
4 Minutes - It's good, but it's just a little repetitive, I am over it by now. 3.5/5
Give It 2 Me - It's quite strange, but I like it. It's very whimiscal.

Incredible - Panned by pretty much everybody. I don't Know Why, I LOVE It. It's a great pick-me up song. It's Incredible! (Apparently, So is sex with Guy!) 5/5
Beat Goes On - Not "Instant Classic" but "Has Potential", I actually don't mind this. It starts to head downhill here. 4.5/5

Devil Wouldn't Recognise You - It like a hybrid of What Goes Around.. . and Cry Me A River. It almost sounds a bit generic. I think she thinks she is better than the devil 3/5
Voices - I couldn't even listen to this once, It is that bad, a really horrid song. 0/5
All in All,It is extremely cohesive, but i wouldn't call it a Hip-Hop record. It could be described as an urban dance album.

Its a pretty catchy album, but it doesnt seem to carry much originality for me.

CANDY shop: 4/5 funky stuff this makes you wiggle. Ilike the lrics there sexy and make me hungry... this has really sexy hook ... strippers will make great routines to this track .. and the synth is sick.
4minutes:3.5/5 the lyrics are strange ... its more about madonna and justin writting a song togther then saving the world...but a great timbaland BREAKDOWN! the only song where justin is LIKE in yur face singing along with madonna ... and is fun...
GIVE it TO ME:5/5 COME on now this is bad ...its like a "the WAY I ARE" club banger except pharrell made it lol. shame on yu timbo and the GET STUPID part is just FRESH!

MILES away:5/5 this is sum of timbalands best work on here ... the end breakdown is kinda haunting ... this is one of the most beautifull songs...

I love the bitter bitchiness of this tracks ...MADONNA vocal changes is sweet on here... the cool thing is it has a oldschool sound ...but then it changes into a club remix sound ... a longer track about 6minutes ...like its from madonna first record where all the trax rock on over 5 minutes.... beep beep toot toot ....
Incredible: 4.5/5 I LOVE this song it makes me KRUMP ...ha ha ah ah it has a bangin STRONGE beat ... it feels happy but theres a sadness to it ...or lonleyness i should say... Pharrell anoys me on this track tho ha ha ah!!! sumtimes he needs to shut up h aha ah!!! starts out a swayer then at the end madonna wants yu to get yur hands up!
BEATgoes On: 3.5/5 this is sooo diffrent then the demo that leaked a few months ago wich is a good surprise but I LOVED THE DEMO ... and I can fall in love with this one ...its less about a womans perspective wich is kinda nice ... SOUNDS kinda like 70's funk disco ...ONCE again the beat by the end grows to more future like ... and KAYNE WEST rap at the end is ok ... but does nothing for the track ... wasnt needed but im not a WEST fan ...
DANCE tonight: 2/5 justin is annoyimng in this song ha ha ah his uh cmon uh uh comns ...get corny ... he seems like he trying to be cool for madonna... ha ah ah!! this song seems really blah ..but its probly cuase the number track it is ... if this was like the end song or the first song it wouldnt seem so bad ... its just pretty chill... the beat is really simple ... but yu cant help sing the hook ... lets dance tonight dance tonight! but by the end the track is more interesting ... more instruments ... not timbalands best work ...kinda seems blah like timbo was burnt out on sum weed...
Spanish lessons: 5/5 ...one of TIMBALANDS best spanish trax ...for hardcore timbo fans weve heard a few spanish trax in the last 10 years ...but this is one of the best ... and madonna's silly lyrics and playfull singing make this a real hip shaker.... you can tell they had fun with this track ...
maybe cuase justin timberlake fell asleep or sumthin after his ass shot ... but this track feels like if madonna and timbaland where alone/// I love when she repeats WORK WORK WORK ...this is a stand out track...classic TIMBO sound here.
DEVIL: 3.5/5 ...this song seems like it comes form madonna american life ... its doesnt really sound timbaland-ish ...people compaire it to CRY ME A RIVER ... but I kinda dont get that...
maybe if they only heard timbaland from justin or radio ... but its a classic timbaland serious track ... kinda rock ... a very mellow track .... it breaks into i think is JUSTIN singing Ohhs like a chior ...

CLOSING COMMENTS: this is a GREAT work of art ... madonnas vocals are mostly untouched not much vocal FX we have become used to with the last few albums ... but I kinda felt the trax didnt really showcase madonna voice very well... so using sum vocal fx may have spiced things up /// sum people my find the album gets boring ... its really doesnt it just the TRACK order ... if you placed yur least favorite trax first yud find every song has a place and a unique quality... i found if yu place the songs in order of the slowest bpm first to fastest it really feels good ... and Im shocked that pharrell really brought the creativity this time ...timbaland kinda just seemed to do what hes used to ... i think the problem was justin and timbaland gangin up on madonna .... madonna probly couldnt convince to people to try sumthing new ....kinda a 2 against one thing if it was just her and timbaland i think things would have went in a diffrent direction ...and thats what I was excited to hear ...but instead we got banged out factory timbaland/timberlake songs instead of true madonna and timbo colaborations... so id like madonna and timbo to work together gain just with out timberlake ...the stuff he did on bjorks latest album was like shocking that he even came up with those jams....I couldnt wait to see what madonna would bring to the table but timberlake was allready sitting on it ....madonna said she didnt like sharing DIVA space and maybe thats why her and pharrells songs were more futuristic.... but overall ...VERY dance ... sum tracks are ground breaking for inventing a new sound ... and I like how the songs are so multilayered that with multiple listenings you start so love the tracks more... even the thats dance tonight I didnt like when I first heard it ..but know im liking it more.

this album was bad. Confessions on a dancefloor was way better. Themusic styles didnt mix well to me. i did like ur album cover though. da real one is so nasty. madonna is to old to be dressing like dat. it makes me cringe looking at it lol

I'm kinda disappointed. I have to say that Madonna's Confessions is 10x better. A few hits on this CD.
Overall I feel like the CD is produced well, but underproduced when it came to Madonna's vocals
Candy Shop: 1/5 I really don't care for Pharrell's producing in this song, it sounds like his old ways.
4 Minutes: 3/5 The Lyrics? This should not have been the lead single.
Give It 2 Me: 10/5 I Love this track! Very complicated and different. I'm shocked that Timbo was not behind this amazing track. I would go to the club to listen to this. Perfect workout song!
Heartbeat: 4/5 I love it! Nice beat.
Miles Away:5/5 her vocals are amazing. I love the lyrics.
She's Not Me: 2/5 I don't like the beat, lacking in the vocals.
Incredible: 5/5 The title says everything. Gets amazing towards the middle of the song.
Beat Goes On: 3/5 average.
Dance 2night: 2/5 The beat and vocals are way underproduce. I feel like there are beats missing. Overall the beats and vocals really don't compliment each other. The beat at the end would have been amazing for the song.
Spanish Lesson: 0/5 Wtf? The beat is annoying. I had to delete the song off my iPod.
Devil 10/5: I love it. Actually might beat out "Give it 2 me" as the number one song.
Voices 4/5 Love it, with a handful of more spins it'll be a 5/5
Overall I feel the songs sound the same. She should have worked more with Danja, the producer, behind Britney Spears massively fierce sick Cd "Blackout".
A lot of these beats sounds like the beginning of the new pop sound.

i really despise blog trolls that diss real music artists...
i dunno WTF all you ASSHOLES are talking about but this Album is the SHYT...
youre prolly the same ASSES who dissed 4 minutes or always diss Timbaland, but guess what his production always rules the charts from his album to all the other artists he does tracks for...and if it wasnt for him missy elliott or Aaliyah's sound none of the pop r&b hip hop today would exist...their style greatly influences the music world no matter how many times they switch it up...so many the way i are...apologize and my love sounding songs out there is RIDICULOUS....
Hard Candy is Madonna's hottest album to date...even the songs i didnt like at first i like now...theres only 1 song i could do without but i like that she has this FRESH electro pop hip hop style goin on and somehow shes infused old skoo madonna vocals with it....
i suggest you go back to her first three albums then imagine Timbaland Danja Justin Timberlake and Pharrell updating that sound with the sound of music today and you got FUCKING MAGIC...
so far Madonna, Janet, and Mariah have given us the first taste of whats to come in 08...and even after you read this you still think it sucks then i feel sad for you because you obviously wasnt ther at day 1 of any of these artists to see their evolution and artistry grow...
all in all another album worth your money and more respect then your petty premature criticisms...
